Serial number 5253 circa 1956-1957. This trombone has been slowly and carefully restored to it's original condition with no replacement parts. Inner tubes show little wear and no plating loss.Cellulose lacquer was applied as was the product used then. Horn is beautiful, has great partials and the Bach "center of sound". The horn is original. The finish is rough, but the horn just plays amazingly well and is 100% mechanically sound. The valve has good compression.
